World's Edge Farm

World’s Edge Farm is a second-year market garden operated by Susan and Edward Herrick-Gleason (and four of their children) and located on O’Brien Farm Foundation land in St. John’s. All of our vegetables and herbs are grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Edward is an astronomy writer and former planetarium director who recently developed a passion for sustainable local agriculture. Susan grew up in St. John’s and has been growing vegetables and herbs for 40 years. She returned home with her family in 2024 after many years of homesteading and foraging in Maine.
