We are a family-run certified organic farm located in Portugal Cove. We’ve been growing organically for over 30 years, providing leadership in sustainable farming on the Avalon Peninsula. To a great extent, we have fulfilled our original goals which were to demonstrate that most vegetables can be grown in Newfoundland, to encourage local food production and to serve a local market at a time when organic vegetables were literally non-existent. Our new goal is to see what fruit can be grown on the Avalon.
